Pasquale Capogreco is a lifelong resident of East Boston and serves as President of Italia Unita. He is one of four founders of Italia Unita. His pride for East Boston and Italian culture is quite evident through the successes of Italia Unita’s annual festivals. He is a City Official and serves on the East Boston Main Streets Board and is a former director of the East Boston Chamber of Commerce.

Ben Tauro one of four founders. Ben was born in Italy and settled in East Boston raising a family of four and the proud grandfather of 10 grandchildren. He is a successful entrepreneur, starting a few family businesses including, a tailor shop, glass shop (Logan Glass family owned) and Rapino’s Funeral Home. He spent most of his years volunteering on many boards including serving as President of the East Boston Chamber of Commerce. He is strong community activist in East Boston.

Elvira Federico, currently serving as Treasurer for Italia Unita was born in Italy and raised in Boston, she is proud of and has always remained true to her Italian heritage. Her accounting background has been a strong base for both her job and her volunteer activities. Elvira is a Subcontracts Administrator for an Environmental Engineering firm in Boston and also donates her time to other Italian-American Organizations such as the Dante Alighieri Society, where she serves on the Board of Governors and as Treasurer, she is a member of Fieri-Boston, and Treasurer of Aprutium (an Abruzzese Womens' organization).

Lisa Capogreco is the event coordinator for Italia Unita. One of four founders and a life long resident of East Boston, Lisa works in the areas of public relations, community development, film, politics, and radio. Neffo Cappuccio is Sales Manager of Cappuccio Construction. Born in East Boston, Neffo served as President of the East Boston Main Streets Program. He volunteers and donates in many organizations including, Savio Prep, Casa Monte Cassino and other worthy causes. www.cappuccioinc.com

Angelo Vigliotta Jr. was born and raised in East Boston, he is the President of Galaxy Electrical Corporation. Angelo got involved in Italia Unita as a contractor but quickly grew to appreciate the committee’s passion and dedication and has become a fellow board member. He currently serves on the East Boston Chamber of Commerce.

Jena Cotreau, is a Graphic Artist for an advertising agency north of Boston. A former East Boston resident, she began volunteering for Italia Unita, providing assistance in advertising and graphic design, as a way to give back to the community and to learn about her heritage. Jena now serves as one of Italia Unita's Board Members.

Jennifer Gentile, is an Human Resource Recruiter for a company that is a leader of worldwide credit card processing. She became interested in Italia Unita because she had studied abroad in Florence, Italy and wanted to become more involved in promoting the Italian culture within the Boston community. Jennifer now serves as Italia Unita's Secretary.

Charles Clark, was born in Connecticut and has lived in East Boston for ten years. Charles is the Facilities/IT Manager for the AIDS Action Committee and has been there since 1996. Charles has traveled extensively throughout Italy and has adopted the culture and the language. His interest in Italy and the Italian culture brought him to Italia Unita two years ago.

Stephen Jones, has lived in East Boston his entire life. He is an accountant working for Donna Franca Travel, an agency that specializes in Italian Vacation Packages. Stephen first got involved with Italia Unita in 2005 to reconnect with his Italian heritage. In 2006, Stephen received his Italian Citizenship.
